Privacy

Simple, local-first privacy.

Rivelle is designed to keep your study desk on your Mac. The app does not require an account, and the website only uses a light analytics setup so we can understand whether the launch site is working.

Rivelle for Mac

The Rivelle app is local-first. Your study data stays on your Mac unless you choose to export, import, or back it up yourself. Rivelle does not require a cloud account to study.

Website analytics

The Rivelle website uses Google Analytics to measure basic site usage, such as page views, traffic sources, and general visit patterns. This helps us understand which pages are being used and whether the launch site is working as expected.

Analytics is off until you accept the website banner. If you decline, the site still works, but Rivelle will not store analytics cookies for measurement.

Google may collect information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and interaction data according to its own policies. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use cookies or similar browser storage through Google Analytics and basic site features. We do not use the website for user accounts, subscriptions, or a synced learning profile.
